As an exercise, I try to work on a portrait every week or so, and often find the subreddit r/redditgetsdrawn to be a huge inspiration. I try to focus on one thing, like creating a fantasy character from a regular human reference, working on stylization, story telling, or even just studying lighting or fabric.
